Event

Seoul National University Museum of Art provides fields for open discourse toward the discovery of new possibilities and values of Korean contemporary art, through diverse programs such as lectures, debates, performances, film screenings and special events. It strives to present a space that is always changing through lively, dynamic events that deal with all areas of culture. MoA is also working to expand opportunities for the public to experience the museum, by organizing diverse programs for all age groups from children to adults.

In the lecture and debate programs, diverse perspectives on selected topics are offered along with in-depth theory, in order to help participants understand the exhibitions. Further, artists are invited to provide more detailed insights into their worlds of work. To lower the threshold of the art museum and expand the role of the institution, MoA also presents performances and film screening programs.

Through these programs, we hope to play the role of a guide to contemporary art, promoting the public’s creativity and understanding of difficult art-related subjects.
